Tigers record first test draw against Pakistan
Desk (Bangladeshtime): The first Test match between Bangladesh and Pakistan has finished in a draw as Tigers helmed the second innings with strong hands against the visitors on the final day in Khulna.

Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal has knocked off Pakistan's lead with his double-ton on the fifth day in the second innings of the first test match between Bangladesh and Pakistan. Tamim has won the man of the match award in the match.

The Tigers chasing the Blackcaps for 296 runs managed to bag 555 for 6 wickets from 136 overs.

The record opening partnership between Tamim Iqbal and Imrul kayes was stopped at 312 runs as Zulfiqar picked up Kayes for 150 runs. Junaid claimed the wicket of Mominul for only 21 runs.

The partnership is also the fourth highest opening stand in the second innings of any test.

Mohammad Hafeez picked the wicket Mushfiqur Rahim before the Bangladeshi batsman scored any run for the team. Junaid Khan dismissed Mahmudullah after he scored 40.

Pakistan was all out for 628, taking a lead of 296, in reply to Bangladesh's 332 in the first innings.
