Saying that the nation is proud of them, she announced Tk 20 million reward for the Bangladesh national cricket team.
“I am announcing a reward of Taka one crore for stunning performance in the ICC World Cup and Taka one crore for 'Banglawash' against Pakistan and crushing Pakistan in the one-off T20 series for Bangladesh team," she said.
The premier hosted a reception in honour of Bangladesh cricket team at her official Ganobhaban residence in Dhaka on Saturday afternoon.
Furthermore, the Bangladesh team will get Tk 10 million as "winning money", Tk 30 million from the ICC, Tk 13 million from the BCB and Tk 10 million from Beximco for their recent performance, Sheikh Hasina added.
