Bangladesh Time: Adam Sandler and his films are not exactly known for their subtlety. His films are often filled with the over-the-top , offensive and racist jokes, for which he has received much backlash. However, on the sets of his new comedy, The Ridiculous Six, a shocking development happened, when the actors of a particular community couldn’t handle the jokes.
They expressed their disgust with film’s creative team over a few dialogues and scenes that were deemed too insulting to their Native American community. By what little info we managed to garner, they are not too far from the truth. A couple of Native American female characters were named Beaver’s Breath and No Bra. A character is also shown to squat and urinate while smoking a peace pipe. When the team refused to acknowledge their reservations, the actors staged a walk-out from the sets.
